Jigawa State Governor Opens Mosque For Eid Prayers |CABLE REPORTERS


The governor of Jigawa state, Governor Muhammad Badaru has lifted all bans on religious gatherings earlier imposed in the state

According to a statement signed by his spokesman, Auwal Sankara, the governor enjoined Muslims to go ahead with their normal Eid prayers tomorrow.

He added that places under lockdown would continue to be locked after the prayers and all Sallah festivities are banned.

Jigawa now has a total of 241 confirmed cases and ranks the sixth state with the worst hit of coronavirus.
