President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the head of the National Examination Council (NECO) Prof Charles Uchenna Uwakwe and two other top staff after two years of suspension.
They were suspended for allegedly awarding N25bn contract and employing some staff without following the due process
Four other management staff of the council were also dismissed over various offences.

Uwakwe and two other staff were suspended on May 10th 2018 and investigative panel which later found them guilty was instituted to probe the allegations.

You forgot to also publish here that the next two registrars who were not northerners died mysteriously
