The embattled governor of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki has joined the major opposition party, The People's Democratic Party PDP.
Governor Obaseki made this announcement on Twitter minutes ago where he twitter:
"I have officially joined the @OfficialPDPNig to advance my ambition to seek re-election as Governor of Edo State.
I, as always, remain committed to engendering good governance and sustainable development of our dear state"
He was disqualified by the ruling APC on allegations of irregularities in his credentials.
