Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho has expressed dissatisfaction over the award of a late penalty to Manchester United's Paul Pogba which earned them a draw on yesterday's English Premier League clash between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur which ended on a 1:1 draw.
Pogba who challenged the decision of the center referee stated Manchester United would have "real suffer the other English teams with penalty pandemic if not for the availability of VAR.
"There should be a new rule from the Premier League Board of Referees that says 'If you touch a Manchester United player in the box it's a penalty' If I'm not mistaken, they've been awarded more than eleven penalties this season alone.
Once their players fall inside the box it's a penalty. It doesn't matter if he was fouled or not, as long it's Manchester United, it's a penalty. Thanks for the availability of VAR, otherwise a lot of teams would really suffer from this pandemic of penalties." Jose Mourinho says
