The Sokoto state government through the Sokoto task force committee on COVID-19 says it has discharged all the CoronaVirus patients isolated in the state.
Sokoto state commissioner for health, Ali In name, who spoke at a news conference, said as of Friday, there was no patient at the state’s isolation center.
The first case of COVID-19 was recorded in the state on April 19. Between then and May 23, the state confirmed 115 cases of the disease while 14 deaths were recorded.
The commissioner added that He added that testing of suspected COVID-19 patients would continue as 839 alerts have been received across the state and all of them were an investment. noting that any positive person detected would be taken to the isolation center.
