Ray Hushpuppi has been charged to court today, July 3rd, and faces up to 20 years jail term.



Social media big boy and alleged internet fraudster, Ray Abbas, popularly known as Ray Hushpuppi has been charged today, July 3rd, and faces up to 20 years jail term if convicted.

As stated by the Website of the U.S Government Department of Justice, Hushpuppi who arrived Chicago on Thursday evening after being thrust out from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has made his first court appearance today and is set to be transfered to Los Angeles in time to come.

Hushpuppi would have to face a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison if convicted of the supposed crime.

According to the FBI, he (Hushpuppi) is said to fund his luxurious lifestyle through crime and has designed systems for money laundering which targets victims around the world.
