Hon. Pat Asadu And Pst. Sam Iyiogwe Reacts to the Sudden Death of Hon. Mrs. Ugwu, Calls for Prayers | CABLE REPORTERS


Rt. Hon Pat. Asadu, the Member representing Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South federal constituency and the former local government chairman of Nkanu East, Pastor Sam Iyiogwe has reacted to the sudden death of Hon. Mrs. Chinwe Ugwu, the immediate past chairperson of Nsukka local government area of Enugu State.

Rt. Hon. Pat Asadu wrote:
"I have just confirmed this devastating news of the untimely death of Hon Chinwe Ugwu, the immediate past caretaker Chairman of my own Nsukka LGA. 
What bad news for an otherwise promising weekend. 
Sen. Fidelis Okoro, Rt Hon Patrick Omeje Jnr, Justice FIN Ngwu, and now Hon Chinwe Ugwu all in the morgue!! 
And some  others not mentioned here, in our selfsame  LG 
Where have we gone wrong to deserve this litany of deaths
Why are we losing our people of all ages, statuses, and creeds?.
May God forgive all of us, return His face and save His people from these untimely deaths.
Only God's grace can see us through these perilous times. Let us all forget our individual pursuits for a while and seek God's face more fervently now, through individual and corporate prayers. He will surely answer us in Jesus' name... Amen. 
For all the faithful departed, may their souls rest in peace... Amen.

On his part, CABLE REPORTERS equally learned that the former chairman of Nkanu East, Hon. Pastor Sam. Iyiogwe while reacting to the sudden demise of his colleague, tagged it a "Very Sad News" and called for prayers.

"Oh No, very sad news to hear! God shows mercy on your people and heals the land. My sincere condolences to her immediate family, local government, and all that are connected to her." - the Ex-Chairman wrote.

Hon. Mrs. Chinwe Ugwu died Today, after a brief illness.
This is coming 28 days after the sudden demise of her successor and the then local government chairman of Nsukka Council, Hon. Pat Omeje
