The Online Talent Hunt which was organized by the Apex youth wing of youth in Enugu East Senatorial Zone availed an opportunity for youths to showcase their talent to the world and equally win good prizes, the show saw over 70 participants from which 3 winners emerged.
The local government chairman of Enugu East local government, Hon. Alex Ugwu (Ekwueme), applauded Nkanu youth Assembly for the well thought out initiative which according to him will open the door of opportunities to not just the winners but all participants of the program.
He equally congratulated the winners and urged them to see it as a step to greater heights in life.
The National President of Nkanu Youth Assembly in his opening remark thanked the Mayor of Enugu East for his development strides in Enugu East local government and his continued support to the association, promising the continuous relationship and support of Nkanu Youth Assembly.
The President went ahead to highlight some of His Union's recent achievements such as the Large Scale Poultry farm, currently sponsored by His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Enugu State, and prospective Projects such as Unbiased Scholarship Schemes, Entrepreneurial Opportunities, and employment prospects for Nkanu Youth, etc, which he explained shall be offsprings of the Union's Investments; All thanks to the most youth-friendly Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
He extended his immense appreciation to Hon. Chima Chimaroke Nnamani Jnr, Sir. Ngene Chibiikem (CEO Powell Nigerian limited) for their sponsorship, he also thanked the management of Family Love FM for the partnership
The awardees expressed joy and satisfaction and duly thanked the Organizers for the transparent processes that produced them.
Delivering the closing remark, the member representing Enugu East Youths in Nigerian Youth Parliament, Hon. Benjamin Zion Arinzechukwu thanked the mayor of Enugu East local government, Hon Alex Ugwu, lauded Nkanu Youth Assembly for their initiatives and also congratulated the winners charging them to keep up with their zeal as one's talent distinguish and opens doors of endless possibilities.
The highlight of the occasion was the official presentation of Cash rewards to the winners of the 2020 Nkanu Youth Assembly Talent Hunt:
The winner Mr. Samson Mbah received 100,000 naira,
1st Runner Up, Nweke Favour Chiamaka got 50,000 naira from the association and 2nd runner up Nnaji Kizito received the cash price of 25,000 naira.
