Enugu State House of Assembly, in its sitting today 16th March 2021 took a swift intervention on a controversial Enugu Ex Governors Pension Bill.
Having felt the pulse of the masses, & the attendant public outcry over the above Bill, the Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt, *Hon Edward Uchenna Ubosi* ( Ozege) swung into action to avert the imminent challenges inherent in the above bill.
The Speaker having proffered leadership with his team of uncompromising House members has received accolades & encomiums from well-meaning people of the State for a swift intervention having stepped down the controversial Enugu Ex Governors Pension Bill.
*Hon Sam Ngene,( Anointed David)* while expressing his satisfaction over the exercise stated thus: "I sincerely thank the Speaker, the Leadership of the House & my distinguished colleagues for rising to the occasion over the public outcry on the above proposed Bill.
The Speaker has proffered leadership with the cooperation of my gallant honorable Members. Having stepped down the Bill, it was intended to allow members to go through the bill & make meaningful contributions. The House Committee Chairman on Health added".
