It was another memorable event as the Campaign tour of Comrade AC Ude "The Jagaban" concluded their local Government and ward tour with Enugu a visit to Enugu West Senatorial Zone.
On their visit to Ezeagu Local Government Area, which was like a carnival with over 700 Party members waiting and rejoicing for such a visit, a strong member of the Party in Ezeagu Local Government nicknamed "Mr commissioner" who is also a major stakeholder in APC Enugu State, Hon Tony Ibekwe described Comrade AC Ude as a worthy, reliable and Faithful Party Man, who is always with the grassroot and very acceptable to them.
"APC Enugu State Needs you to win elections, this is because, you have over the years, being an advocate of justice, equity and fairness with a proven integrity."
"You have been with the Party since inception, toiled stoically for her growth and with you, the Party can grow better."
"On behalf of APC Ezeagu, i am donating a sum of ₦40,000 to support the purchase of your nomination form."
"This is because, you have done a lot to APC in Enugu State and i remembers vividly your efforts in building the structure of APC in Ezeagu."
Hon Tony Ibekwe also declared his interest to Run for the Zonal Vice-Chairman of the Party in Enugu West.
"The Good of APC in Ezeagu, i also use this opportunity to solicit for your support to be the next Zonal Chairman of our great Party in Enugu West Senatorial Zone."
"My mission is very simple, to make the Party an Avenue of rescuing our zone from underdevelopment, marginalisation and object of ridicule."
The State Caretaker committee Publicity Secretary of the Party, Chief Mrs Kate Offor, in her Remarks, promised to give her maximum support for the emergence of Comrade AC Ude, as the next State Chairman of APC Enugu State.
The Campaign team's arrival at Awgu, the Jagaban's local Government Area was also another fantastic one as over 1000 Party members came en masse to welcome the Jagaban and his team.
Speaking while addressing the Party members, the caretaker committee chairman of the Party, Hon Henry Umeh described Comrade AC Ude as their beloved son, whose hard work for the progress of the Party is glaring and always speaks for itself.
He assured that, the APC Awgu under his leadership, will liaise with other local Government Area to make this dream a success.
He however called for an obedience to the zoning arrangement made by the State Caretaker Executive committee, as it purveys unity and promote progress while also raising over ₦100,000 in support of their son saying" Other Zones can not donate more than us for our own."
In their remarks, the Oji River Local Government Ward Chairmen of the Party, when they received the jagaban, unapologetically, called him "The man for the Job".
They narrated how active that the Jagaban has been, the sleepless nights he has had working for the Party, the risks that he has taken so far and concluded that "He is APC body and Flesh"
Also recall that the Party in Udi and Aninri had on Friday, called for support from other zones to help build the Party around Comrade AC Ude who they unanimously likened to the Biblical Jọshụa.
