Enugu State Female Comrades Storms Enugu Police Command Demands Swift Persecution Of Syndicates Who Used 7year old Minor For Sex Trade In Enugu | CABLE REPORTERS

 


The Association of Enugu Young Females in Enugu under the aegis of Association of Enugu State Female Comrade on Friday stormed the Enugu State Police Command in demands for the immediate and swift persecution of Criminals who raped,  abused and used a 7-year-old  girl for sex trade in collaboration with her grandmother in Abakpa, Enugu State.


The group led by Comr. Goodness Nwabueze MBBS expressed shock, displeasure and umbrage over the ugly incident, describing It as a bestial act against an innocent harmless girl, an action which should not go unpunished.


She informed the Enugu police chief that their visit is to ascertain the real situation at hand and to equally call on the police to ensure that not only the arrested ones are to be  swiftly prosecuted but that everyone who has a hand in the ugly incident are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.


Comr. Nwabueze equally inquired about the current health and mental state of the victim for their possible intervention.


On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu immediately summoned the Enugu superintendent on gender affairs and deputy commissioner on crimes to the meeting, thanked the association for coming to ascertain the real issue at hand than depending on hear-say, he ensured them and the general public that those culprits will be charged to court immediately, including the grandmother.


The Enugu commissioner also stated that all other people who have been abusing the girl are currently on the watchlist as they will be arrested and persecuted soon.


CP Aliyu also stated that he is passionate about such case as this could be anybody's daughter 

He encouraged the public to always report to the police or other security agents whenever they see something suspicious, he advised that they shouldn't waste time because ingredient to nail culprits disappear with time.
