The 2023 call for a Nigerian President from South East extraction has also entered into another dimension another set of group pleading with Emperor Baywood Ibeh to run for Presidency come 2023.
It was reported across some social media platforms yesterday that a group known as Baywood support group has flooded the city with his posters and fliers.
A coalition of South West Support Groups for Baywood 2023 under the aegis of South West for Baywood 2023 have assured Nigerians that the veteran businessman is someone who can make things happen in this country and bring back our lost glory.
When questioned on Saturday in Lagos, the Organizing Secretary of the coalition, Arc Adejugba Olushola stated that, the South Westerners are behind him.
According to him " We have United under one canopy to work for our person, Emperor Baywood Ibeh in becoming the President Muhammadu Buhari's successor."
"He is a man that has over the years, worked hard to make Nigeria an Industrial Haven"
"He has impacted on so many life in almost all the State of the Federation without looking at religion or tribe"
"He is what we need now".
He also stated that they also been working underground in the All Progressives Congress APC across the nation to make the Party lovable to the grassroot.
"We believe that politics is all about being at the table where decisions are made and the people that has the power to do that at political Party level is the grassroots"
"In South West, we have been Mobilising APC members to support this project and the results are tremendously positive.
"We have outlined our work plan that will make him the candidate to beat"
"As i am talking to you, We are in a meeting with the 37 State Coordinators of Baywood support Group (BSG) to get copies of his vision and mission statement which would take the project to another level.
In another development, the Coordinator of All the Northern Support Groups for Baywood 2023 Presidency, Alhaji Ahmed Dauda in a statement he released also on Saturday, said that business mogul's presence is felt very well in their zone.
He also posited that, he has been working harmoniously with the former and current Leadership of the Party to position it very well ahead of 2023 electioneering and thus joined other zones in calling him, to make a declaration "
"We are in the 19 Northern States and have decided to work and support Emperor Baywood Ibeh 's Presidential ambition"
"All we need is for him to declare his intention to run and we will deliver him"
"Emperor Baywood Ibeh has paid his dues, he has also been working with both the Foundation and New members of the Party, to make APC, a House Hold Name."
