The National President of Nkanu youths, Hon. Edeani M. Edeani has celebrated the Governor of Enugu state, his excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on the resolution of his committee to zone the Parties national chairmanship position to the North.
Hon. Edeani explained that the resolution of the committee led by the governor which recommended the swapping of National Working Committee offices between the North and South ahead of the October 31 national elective convention clarified that Governor Ugwuanyi is a man of fairness, equity and justice emphasising that it has once again portrayed the Governors determination to maintain zoning in the state and ensure that an Nkanu man takes over the mantle of leadership from him at the end of his tenure in 2023 as he has promised.
“His Excellency, the white lion of Enugu state have always been known as a man of principle, equality and fairness who believes in the peace and inclusion of everyone in politics which is the basic centre of democracy.”
“His Influence saw that the party’s offices are zoned hereby providing a great deal for southern and of course Igbo presidency come 2023”
“ He's a man that loves Ndi-Igbo and I'm very sure that if he had manned the Governor Bala Mohamed led Presidential zoning committee, he would have zoned the presidency to the south to address the marginalization of Ndi Igbo”
“The decision of the His excellency’s led committee is another solid statement that Gov. Ugwuanyi is most determined to keep the zoning arrangement of Enugu governorship and ensure that a Nkanu man takes over from him when his impactful administration ends in 2023” the Governor's aide stated.
