It has been jubilation across the City of Enugu State since Thursday afternoon, as the member representing Enugu North constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon Ibenaku Onoh Defended his Phd Thesis in Corporate Law at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus.
This has prompted series of eulogy from various Social, political, religious Groups amongst others across the state.
The leadership of Enugu North Progressives, have commended the lawmaker for this wonderful achievement despite all the activities that follows political leaders in the State.
The Group In a statement made by their Coordinator Dr Philip Ugwu and sent to newsmen from Houston USA on Thursday, stated that Hon Ibenaku Onoh, has become an emulation tool to the Youths of Enugu State and Nigeria.
They stated that they were not surprised at the achievement but astonished with the zeal and seriousness which he applied to make it fruitful devoid of excuses.
According to them " We the members of the Enugu North Progressives, commends the lawmaker representing our constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon Ibenaku Onoh, for bagging Phd in Corporate law"

The Group further released more details about the Enugu lawmaker which they obtained from verifiable sources, calling him, "The Abraham lincoln of Enugu Youths"
"For some who may not know him very well, Hon Ibenaku onoh until his latest success, was born in 1987, had his Nursery and primary School in CHiazo Nursery and primary School Enugu where he wrote his common entrance in 1998.
He went on to attend Federal Government college Enugu where he obtained his SSCE before proceeding to Holborn College London where he obtained foundation certificate in law.
He went on to Brunel University, West London in 2006 and got his LLb in 2009 before he entering the School of Oriental and African Studies(University of London) from 2009 to 2010 to obtain his LLM.
Hon ibenaku onoh did not stop there, he proceeded quickly to the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science and studied international relations at a post graduate Diploma level and graduated in 2011 with a post Graduate Diploma certificate in international relations.
He came back and participated in Nysc in 2011,attended Nigerian Law School in 2012 and graduated in 2013 before he started his law practice at law firm of Chief Chris Uche SAN as an associate Lawyer in 2013.
During this time as an assocoate lawyer, he was exposed to various areas of legal practice particularly litigation, corporate practice and high profile election petition matters.
In 2015, he gained employment into the Legal Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria at the CBN Headquarters in Abuja. His time working at the bank afforded him the opportunity to understand the workings of the Nigerian economy and also to understand the dynamics of the Nigerian public service.
In 2017, he resigned his employment at the Central Bank of Nigeria to concentrate on the practice of law and also focus on furthering his education at Ph.D. level. Until recently, he was a Managing Partner at the law firm of H I Onoh & Co, a law firm which he co-founded in 2016.
Hon Ibenaku Onoh was practicing law before he was overwhelmly elected to represent Enugu North in the State Assembly in 2019.
He was also elected as the chairman of young parliamentarians forum Enugu state, a position he has held to the satisfaction of the members
Today, he has successfully obtained a Doctorate Degree in Corporate law from the University of Nigeria Enugu campus.
