Leading Igbo youth group, Nkanu Youth Assembly have expressed their readiness to welcome and honor the Minister of State for Agriculture and rural development, Hon. Mustapha Baba Shehuri, the Former Senator, representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani and the Nigeria Ambassador to the Republic of Burindi, Amb. Elijah Onyeagba, CABLE REPORTERS can confirm.
The honor from the well respected group with former Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani, GCON. as their grand Patron, will be the first of it’s kind to be accorded to non-indigene of Enugu State. It will be bestowed on the trio at their annual cultural Fiesta scheduled to hold at main bowl Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu on Sunday 28th November 2021.
Hon. Edeani M. Edeani , the National President of the group, who is also an Aide to the executive governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi explained that the youths are very ready to receive their guest and honor them at the event.
“We are fully ready to receive Sen. Shehu Sani, Minister Baba Shehuri and Ambassador Onyeagba to Enugu state, which is the capital of Igbo land, arrangements are complete, radio jingles are on and it will be on air till the end of the event, our billboards are ready and from Sunday, we will infiltrate the city of Enugu with them as we use to do”
“Our ever loving Governor, His Excecllecy, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, our Grand Patron and Father, Sen. Ken Nnamani GCON amongst other dignitaries are equally ready to join us again at this years Fiesta”
“We are fully ready to celebrate our culture, which is our heritage, we are ready to come together again as brothers without minding any socio, economic or political differences and we are very happy that our carefully selected guests will be joining us” Hon. Edeani Concluded.
The last years Cultural Fiesta of Nkanu Youth Assembly has been rated as the most attended youth event in South East as it had all the polical and economic heavyweights of Igboland in attendance and they are set to defeat their records at this years event.
