Enugu Lawmaker, Nnajiofor Celebrates Christmas With Constituents, Shares Goodies, Campaigns Against Mkpurummiri | CABLE REPORTERS

It was an outstanding moment of jubilation and commendation amidst prayers at the 2021 End of the year Gburugburu Christmas Empowerment & Sensitization Outreach organized by  Rt Hon Paul Nnajiofor Ononenyi the member Representing Nkanu East LGA for his Constituents. This outreach has been an annual event amongst other Advocacy and social responsibility outreaches sponsored by the able Lawmaker since 2015. 

This year's outreach took place on the 29th of Dec 2021 at his Constituency office 1 in Mbulu Owo hosting many beneficiaries such as Widows, Elderly men & women, Organized women groups Adaejemba, Nkanu East Women for Gburugburu, Youths, The Clergy,  Support Groups, the Disabled, other indigent and less privileged members of the Society.  


Items distributed at the event include Bags of Rice, other Foodstuff, Cash donations,  Scholarships, Skill acquisition programmes for the Youths. 

Rt. Hon. Nnajiofor also flagged off a Constituency wide Advocacy Campaign against the Sale & Use of Mkpurumiri in Nkanu East LGA. He urged all youths of his Constituency to shun the consumption of the Killer drug, other hard drugs and all activities that portend negative impacts on the Society.


Hon Chief Chinedu Mba who represented the Governor at the event commended Hon. Nnajiiofor for organizing such outreach and assured him of the Governor's support to all programmes and activities that will better the lives of Ndi Enugu in both the Urban and Rural Areas. He urged the Lawmaker to sustain the campaign against Mkpurumiri while ensuring that every part of Nkanu East key in and participate in the campaign. He further explained that Hon. Nnajiofor is having a good father/son relationship with Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and asked the People of Nkanu East to continue to support their son.


A prayer session was held for the Governor, the Honourable member, Nkanu East LGA and Enugu State in general.
