BREAKING: Enugu Commissioner escapes gunmen attack, 2 police guards killed | CABLE REPORTERS

Enugu State Commissioner for Lands, Hon. Chidi Aroh, escaped death Sunday following Gunmen attack.

Two of his policemen were however not as lucky as they were gunned down by the invading gunmen.

They are Inspector David Adabu and one Inspector Solomon.

The two officers lost their lives on Sunday as they were allegedly ambushed by the gunmen in Anambra State, while returning from a visit to the state with the Commissioner.

Our source said the gunmen had ambushed their Hilux van in a community in Anambra, shot and killed them while the Commissioner was lucky to have escaped in his Jeep.

The hoodlums the source further said made away with the riffles of the police officers.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe (ASP) said the Command has no such information and asked The Sun to contact his Anambra state counterpart to see if has the information.

Hon. Aroh could not be reached by our reporter as at the time of this report.
