The Honourable Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Agriculture, Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe has continued to reiterate his support and solidarity to the candidacy of Hon. Okey Edeh and his running mate Hon. Ndubuisi Agbo for the Chairmanship position of Nkanu East Local Government in the upcoming Local Government polls.
As the Campaign train of PDP hit the Nkanu South Development Centre in Nkanu East, Hon. Mike Ogbuekwe in his campaign speech, as usual, validated the candidacy of the PDP flag bearers for the poll as he called on the masses to cast their vote for them. He pledged his 100% readiness to mobilize voters to ensure the victory of the People Democratic Party candidates at the poll.
As a young follower, well-bred on the culture of loyalty and honour, He highly commended the benevolence of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for giving the young leaders a level playing ground to participate in governance in all spectrum of government. This gesture he said made it possible for him and the party flag bearers who are young leaders to stand in politics of the State and beyond. He equally eulogized Gov. Ugwuanyi's administrative dexterity in conducting the affair of the State and the party peacefully. He called on the people to vote for PDP for the perpetuity of peace and good governance in Enugu State.
One mantra so resounding in his speech is that Nkanu East is for Gburus and Gburus is for Nkanu East.
