As the Local Government poll campaign gong reverberates across the Local Government of Enugu State and Political Parties rolls out their campaign machineries to garner support for their candidates, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Agriculture, Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe today solidly registered his solidarity and dedication to the candidancy of Hon. Okey Edeh and Hon. Ndubuisi Agbo, the PDP candidates for Nkanu East Local Government for Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively for the Local Covernment poll in February 23, 2022.
The Special Adviser who also doubles as the Convener of Gburus Ije Awele Group was on ground at Amankanu Development Center to drum up support and canvass for vote for the candidates of PDP in the upcoming council election.
The Gburus Ije Awele Group, a brainchild initiative of Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe has been holding conversations to ensure the smooth transition of governance to the Enugu East Senatorial Zone in 2023. This is to support the stance of His Excellency; Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to sustain the serene political trajectory of Enugu State, built on power zoning/rotation and political justice in State resource allocation.
Engr. Ogbuekwe is a strong adherent of party supremacy over individuals ambition and a social crusader full of political strategy to deliver the interest of the people.
