The Enugu State governorship flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 elections, Mr. Peter Mbah, has thanked PDP members in the state for supporting him to be the candidate of the party.
In a message personally signed by him, Mbah thanked the party members who spoke overwhelmingly through the delegates at the party’s governorship primary election on Wednesday.
He said: “My deepest gratitude goes to the PDP members in our state - represented by our party delegates – who journeyed from across the state, to be at the primary election ground. They travelled from all the 260 electoral wards in our state to embark on this consequential democratic process”.
Mbah also expressed immense thanks to the good people of the state for their unceasing outpouring of goodwill, support and prayers, stating that “you are the ones who made this victory possible and I owe you a debt of gratitude. This is your victory.”
Mbah also promised the people of the state that “if, by the grace of God and with your massive support, I am elected your Governor, I will serve you with every fiber of my being”, adding that “I will sacrifice my energy, brain, time and comfort for your overall wellbeing; I will seek out your development and a great tomorrow for you from wherever it is hidden. I will be there for you.”
