29th and 30th of June, 2022, The lJE AWELE Socio-political movement for good governance and people-oriented government embarked on a PVC sensitization campaign across the major Markets in Enugu metropolis: Market visited includes; Ogbete Main Market, Timber Market Abakpa and Gariki Market, Market women and men were sensitized on the need to get their voters card and exercise their franchise in the forthcoming general election.
The group while charging the traders to go and obtain their PVC, succiently highlighted the importance of voters card through various placard write-ups as a powerful political tool necessary to enthrone legitimate and credible political leadership that will effectuate into reality the yearnings and aspirations of the people for good governance.
In their Sensitization Campaign messages, they educated the traders on the danger of vote buying and selling on our national economy and the market system. They also charge the trader not to see their voters card as an article for mechandize for desperate politics but as a tool to contribute to the needed change in our society.
Meanwhile, the group also used the medium to enjoin the traders to give their support to Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the PDP Gubernatorial flag bearer for Enugu State, they described him as a capable hand and competent mind with copious administrative potentials with the readiness to steer the affair of the State on path of economic prosperity.
