Ahead of the 2023 gubernatorial election in Enugu State, the member representing Nkanu East Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Paul Nnajiofor has disclosed that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for the state governorship election, Bar Peter Mbah is well prepared for the task of taking the state from its present socio-economic state to the desired destination.
Nnajiofor, a two-term member of the Enugu State House of Assembly, who made the disclosure in Enugu, while fielding questions from journalists said, "the choice of Bar Peter Mbah is a good one,the reason is that he is prepared to deliver good governance to the Enugu people.
"If you check his profile, his rich academic qualification, success in the private sector and his passion for the people of Enugu State,I have no doubt in my mind that he will take us to the desired destination.
"He has during his 'thank you visit' to the 17 local government areas of the state enumerated plans on how to take Enugu State from it present $4 to $30 billion Gross Domestic product (GDP),reduce unemployment to the barest minimum, which you know will reduce poverty, promote a labour friendly environment, sustain the free basic education and to inject skill acquisition into the educational system of the state.
"He also has the Plans to develop our rich rural economy, promote Peace and social harmony in the state, while developing strong and workable templates for both local and foreign investment .
"We can see that Barrister Peter Mbah is loaded and fully prepared for leadership and good governance." Nnajiofor concluded.
