Buhari Seeks Reps Approval For $5.513bn Fresh Loan | CABLE REPORTERS
President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a letter to the House of Representatives seeking their approval for fresh $5.513bn external borrowing
In the letter read by Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the house of representatives on Thursday, President Buhari said that the fund was for 2020 budget deficit, and financing of a critical project im some States of the country.
The National Assembly had approved a loan of N850bn recently for the federal government and other $22.79bn still pending in the house.
