The governor of Zamfara State, Governor Bello Matawalle have explained how his government spend 2.9 billion naira to feed Muslim faithful during the Ramadan faster
Gov. Matawalle made the disclosure on Saturday, May 23, pointed out that N55.2 million was used to purchase 280 cows which were given to Zamfara state civil servants, groups, and communities during the Ramadan season.
He also stated that clothes were distributed to 40,000 orphans across the state to enable them to have new dresses for the Sallah celebration.
