#EndSARS: Enugu State Female Comrades(ESFC) Shun Violence, Encourage Fellow Youths To Embrace Peace, Diplomacy | CABLE REPORTERS

.....condemns the height of unprofessionalism exhibited by Men of the Nigeria Forces during the uproar

The Leadership of all Female leaders in Enugu, otherwise known as Enugu State Female Comrades(ESFC), while addressing Newsmen on Sunday, 25th October 2020, encouraged fellow youths to embrace peace and diplomacy as a means of achieving results.

The President of the Association, Comr. Goodness Nwabueze while narrating the scenario, condemned with instances where hoodlums were breaking Banks, Shops, and carting away people's private properties. In her words, "this is not the Enugu we know. About a month ago, Enugu was the Most Peaceful State in Nigeria. Unfortunately, we learned that most of these hoodlums came in from other states and took advantage of the Peaceful Protest to perpetrate crimes. We feel so pained and take these recent happenings personally because many girls were sexually harassed during these nightmares. We encourage all youths in Enugu to always take the line of Peace and Diplomacy in all they do."

Comr. Goodness, known as NANS Doctor also used the opportunity to console with families of those who lost their loved ones during the unrest, saying that,  "this is a perilous time which we never foresaw. These young people did not deserve to die. The Police who were busy releasing these stray bullets were very unprofessional and should be brought to book. May God grant us all the fortitude to bear the losses. This is a heavy blow to Enugu Comrade Community."

The Female Comrades also urged Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to investigate the killings and bring the perpetrators to justice.
