The member representing Nkanu East Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor who is also chairman house committee on Rural Development Community (CSDP ) has condemned in strong terms the recent killing of His Royal Highness, Igwe Emmanuel Mbah, the traditional ruler of the Oruku community by alleged. armed men
In a press statement to newsmen in Enugu, Hon. Nnajiofor condemned the killing and equally sued for Peace and a collective approach towards apprehending the culprits and bringing them to justice.
" I condemn in totality the killing of the traditional Ruler of Oruku Community incidentally in my Constituency Igwe Emmanuel Mbah, The news is a sad and disturbing one. The incident is completely callous, inhuman and a needless act"
" I call on our people to maintain peace as I call on security agencies and all relevant stakeholders for a reasonable collective approach towards apprehending the culprits" the lawmaker stated
"I extend my condolences to the entire Oruku community, Our Traditional Institution and the Nkanu East constituency” he sympathized.
It could be recalled that HRH Igwe Emmanuel Mbah was shot last weekend by unknown gunmen who claimed to be Police officers from Force Headquarters Abuja
