Hon. Paul Nnajiofor representing Nkanu East Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly has expressed contentment with the economic realities, and concise nature of the just presented 2022 Enugu State Budget by His Excellency Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The Budget tagged Budget of Sustained Growth and Consolidation is about 9.9 % higher than of the year 2021.
In a Statement Issued and signed by the State Lawmaker himself, He described the entire budget as enforceable, positive and a reliable economic instrument for extensive achievements within a short period. After analyzing the derivables of both the 2021 and 2022 Budgets, Nnajiofor Stated that Gov Ugwuanyi is a prudent fiscal and financial resource management expert.
He commended Ugwuanyi for the swift management of meagre resources and dwindling global funds due to Covid 19 and other economic challenges facing nations and states.
“This year’s budget is good, concise and realistic, more so presented at the right time to enable the Legislature swing into action for other necessary scrutiny and Legislative actions including budget defence by MDA’s required before passage.” he added
