The Likeminds for PNM Movement has announced plans to hold the second edition of its Street Hangout in Enugu as part of efforts to mobilise grassroots support and deepen political engagement across the state.
According to information released by the organisers, the event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Ugbo Odogwu, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, and is expected to bring together political stakeholders, youth leaders, and supporters of the movement.
The Street Hangout is being organised under the banner, “Likeminds for PNM 2,” with the slogan, “#LIKEMINDSFORPNM #TOMORROWISHERE,” reflecting the group’s message of political inclusion, even participation and collective action.
The event is expected to feature prominent political figures and mobilisation leaders within the movement, including Engr. Ben-Collins Ndu Jr., Commissioner for Water Resources, Enugu State and Leader of Enugu West Zone; Hon. Edeani Mmaduachi Edeani, Liaison Officer of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), Enugu State Chapter and Leader of Enugu East Zone; Nwogbo Emeka Nelson, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilisation and Youth Leader; and Hon. Enyinna Franklin Ogbonna (Iko Ugba), Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Enugu State and Leader of Enugu North Zone.
The organisers stated that the gathering is aimed at strengthening political mobilisation at the grassroots level while providing an avenue for interaction among supporters and stakeholders.
The promotional materials for the event prominently feature the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, underscoring the movement’s alignment with his administration’s development agenda for the state.
Political observers note that such grassroots engagements have increasingly become an important platform for fostering civic participation and consolidating support for public policies and developmental initiatives in Enugu State.
