Enugu youths praise God for Mbah's successful two years, pledge support | CABLE REPORTERS

As the Enugu State governor Dr Peter Mbah will in a few days, complete his second year in office with so many achievements, Enugu Innovative youths, in a special thanksgiving service, have praised the almighty God for the gift of Mbah and for two years of good governance in the state.

The Special Thanksgiving Service took place at Redemption Church, Enugu where the youths endorsed him for a second tenure, pledging their continued support.

Our Government House Correspondent Fred Nnaji reports that while describing Mbah as a youth-friendly governor, Rev Chimaobi Aninwene noted that the governor has redefined governance and has also exposed the unpatriotic dispositions of those who go into leadership for self aggrandisement.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Enugu East Local Government Area, Beloved-Dan Anike who led the youths to the thanksgiving, acknowledged that the people of the state have never experienced the quality leadership as being witnessed today.

The leader of the youths, Edeani Mmaduabuchi Edeani, urged the governor to be focused and not to be distracted by mischief makers who carry fake news only to appease their paymasters.

The Deputy Chairman, Enugu South Local Government Area, Mr Anthony Egbo and Secretary Enugu Innovative Youth, Mr Emmanuel Nyia, while highlighting various achievements of the governor, described him as a God sent to Ndi Enugu.

The youths stormed the church with placards of different inscriptions such as: Two years of visionary leadership; thank you governor Mbah; Enugu is a giant construct site with projects everywhere; Enugu is safe again under your watch; we stand with you our dear governor; Jobs, Roads, Growth-mbah is working;

Last week, the youths embarked on a medical outreach at Isu in Isi-uzo local government area where over 500 people benefited.
