The member Representing Nkanu East Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor, (Ononenyi) has joined other leaders of Nkanu East Local Government to celebrate the victory of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded Local Govt elections.
The lawmakers also expressed happiness that the electorate has used the opportunity of the elections to appreciate the good governance and peace established by Governor Ugwuanyi’s administration in Enugu State.
Hon Nnajiofor also congratulated the winner of the election in Nkanu East local government, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh and his Deputy, Hon Martins Agbo and all the ward Councillors. He urged the new administration to shore up performance for a better and more Prosperous Nkanu East LGA.
Hon Nnajiofor also applauded Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as a core Party man and reputable democrat, he thanked him for being the reason for a back to back local government election in the state despite huge economic and social challenges that have made election at the grassroots level difficult over the years.
“Governor Ugwuanyi is top-notch in providing good governance and instilling in full practice all the tenets of sustainable democracy.” Nnajiofor added
