Youths from Enugu East Senatorial zone have celebrated the newly inaugurated council chairmen of Nkanu East, Nkanu West, Enugu North, Enugu South, Enugu East and Isiuzo local government on their inauguration tasking them to deliver democratic dividends to the people and emulate the youth inclusion policy of Governor Ugwuanyi.
The National President of Nkanu Youths, Hon. Edeani M. Edeani, made the statement in a brief with newsmen shortly after the inauguration at Okpala Square, Enugu.
“ I on behalf of the teeming Nkanu youths celebrates the newly inaugurated council chairmen from Enugu East Senatorial zone, we are happy for them and we are wishing them a successful tenure. We as youths are equally extending our hands of partnership to assist them fulfilling their campaign promises”
“I also enjoin them to deliver dividends of democracy to our people, the time of politicking is over, Ndi Nkanu, especially the youths expect them to hit the ground running as our people need so much action from them.” - Hon. Edeani
Speaking on youth inclusion, he enjoined them to appoint youths into vital positions, stressing that Nkanu youths will not accept to be relegated.
“Our youth loving governer has set the tenet already and we hope that the new council chairmen will emulate him by empowering and appointing youths into important positions, Nkanu youths have shown capacity in many ways and we will deliver optimally in any given position or appointments.
My office, as Nkanu President will follow this up to ensure that Nkanu youths are not relegated at the scheme of things” Hon. Edeani added
Hon. Edeani thanked Governor Ugwuanyi for his purposeful leadership in Enugu State, he also congratulated ndi Enugu for a successful local council poll.
