Today the 12th May 2022 Engr. Pastor Beloved Dan Anike, Enugu state Governorship aspiranr visited the State Executive Committee of the party and the 17 Local Govt. Chairmen at the party Secretariat GRA Enugu.
The State party chairman Hon Chief Augustine Nnamani while receiving him, amidst cheers described Engr Beloved Dan Anike as a committed and true party man who has made several sacrifices for the party.
In his speech Engr Beloved Dan described the meeting as a family meeting because through the peaceful disposition of His Excellency Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the entire process has become very peaceful and the majority of the aspirant sees the contest as a family thing.
In his words; “I have come here to present myself to you as your own, seeking your support in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, the endearing achievements of the previous leaders capped with a crescendo of peace and harmony are not only worthy of celebration but a must to be maintained and improved upon.”
" My experience as a student leader, a community leader, a commissioner of transport also Inter-ministerial affairs in the state recently permanent member 1 ENSUBEB. I have 2 Engineering degrees, a master's degree in project management; other professional training and certifications with my indebt political pupillage having served in the two administrations of the state has given me an edge as the most prepared and galvanised for this noble assignment. My training at the Nigeria Institute of policy and strategic studies and Lagos business school will be brought to bear as we chart a new course for our Generation. This our time to dance to the music, His Excellencies: Jim Nwobodo was governor at 40, Chimaroke Nnamani at 39, Okwy nwodo at 41,sullivan chime at 47; ifeanyi Ugwuanyi @ 49,”
“The time is Now for Generation to redefine our world.”
He went further to unveil 4 points Agenda if elected the governor, will pursue
vision resting on 4 cardinal agendas:
1. Access to social services: affordable housing, social amenities and social security
2. Manpower development for local and globally competitive citizens: over 10000 globally competitive citizens to be delivered
3. Economic prosperity standing on digital Economy, Agro= economic hubs, government-backed SMEs development,public-private partnership and citizen participation
4. Needs assessment backed infrastructural development: regional re-planning of Enugu city at 15km radius to include ugwogo,amechi idodo,4= corner and 9th mile,: completion and optimum utilisation of existing and uncomplete state infrastructure
According to him, these 4 points will be guided by this simple policy Consolidating the past gains and bridging the gap for the future.
In their separate responses. Hon Prince Emeka Nwatu,Hon Nnamdi Nwafor, Hon Nze Mike Onyeze and Hon Chief Augustine Nnamani all described him as a man full of ideas and also with proven integrity with Records of achievements as a student leader, a community leader, commissioner and board member ENSUBEB and prayed God to grant him his heart desires for the overall benefit of Ndi Enugu
