The Ije Awele movement for good governance yesterday roll out their drums to stand in solidarity with the PDP gubernatorial flagbearer Dr. Peter Mbah and his running mate Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai as they visited Nkanu East local government on a thank you visit to the PDP stakeholders and Party faithfuls alike for emerging the Party Guber Flagbearer.
The Convener of the pro-good governance group, Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe while speaking on the historic visit gave special thanks to God for the opportunity to witness the making of a worthy son of Nkanu East the PDP gubernatorial flagbearer.
He went further to appreciate his Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, his boss and mentor whom he described as an indefatigable political strategist for throwing his weight behind the candidature of Dr. Peter Mbah to continue his unprecendented peaceful and people-oriented governance in Enugu State.
In his words, Dr Peter Mbah is a gift to Ndi Enugu as his outstanding technocratic pedigree in both human and resource management will come to bear in steering the economy of Enugu State to an enviable height.
He gave Dr. Peter Mbah the assurance that the IJE Awele Movement will deploy it strong grassroot based instrumentalities and resources to ensure his victory come 2023.
On behalf of the group, He wished him and his running mate Smooth Sail (lje Awele) as they continue in their race for the seat of the governor of Enugu State.
