Mbah’s Vision Drives Enugu’s Successful Hosting of the South East Vision 2050 Programme | CABLE REPORTERS

Over the past four days, Enugu State proudly and successfully hosted the South East Development Commission (SEDC) Vision 2050 programme through the Enugu State Liaison Office of the Commission launched by the Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima.

The event brought together the southeastern governors, over 4,000 participants and stakeholders from across the South East and beyond, with more than 1,000 delegates flying directly into Enugu. Through strategic coordination, a robust security architecture, efficient logistics, and well-structured protocols, our office ensured a seamless, safe, and incident-free programme from arrival to departure.

This success would not have been possible without the visionary leadership and unwavering support of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State. His sustained investments in infrastructure, security, transportation, and urban development continue to position Enugu as the preferred destination for major regional and national engagements. Enugu has truly become a hub for conferences, partnerships, and development programmes.

I sincerely appreciate the Governor for entrusting our office with this responsibility and for providing all the necessary support that enabled us to deliver excellently.

I also extend my profound gratitude to the leadership of the South East Development Commission for their strong collaboration, coordination, and partnership with Enugu State in making the Vision 2050 programme impactful and successful.

Special thanks to all stakeholders commissioners, members of the Enugu State House of Assembly, local government chairmen, partners, and every delegate who travelled to Enugu for your commitment to the growth and development of the South East.

Together, we have once again demonstrated that Enugu State is prepared, capable, and ready to host initiatives that drive regional progress.

Enugu is open. Enugu is secure. Enugu is leading.
