2023: Why Ezeagu Delegates Should Elect Ebube Nebo as PDP Candidate, Ezeagu Consistency | CABLE REPORTERS


As the 2023 primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) draws closer, group has urged the delegates of the Ezeagu state constituency to vote for Hon. Ebube Nebo, emphasising that he possesses the excellence that Ezeagu delegates will use to define who will float the flag of the people's democratic party come 2023 general election.

The Director-General of Ebube Nebo election Council, Louis Nwachukwu, declared this at a news conference in Enugu on Monday.

Comr. Nwachukwu said that the people of Ezeagu need a legislator who understands the people, and the task ahead; a leader who is humble, sound, unpretentious and ready to raise policies and drive development.

He said that the candidacy of Ebube Nebo is an answered prayer as he has distinguished himself both in public office and in many humanitarian services he is engaged and as such, has the will and capacity to represent and attract the dividends of democracy to his people.

“Ebube Nebo is an answered prayer, we believe that he has the background, the will, the understanding and all it takes to represent the good people of Ezeagu ,” he said.

When asked about their campaign strategy, Comr Nwachukwu emphasised that their campaign has been issue-based, saying “we are more focused on what's right, because the candidacy of Ebube Nebo is a call for equity, fairness and youth in government.”

Comr. Nwachukwu said he believes that Ebube Nebo with his background, virtue and experience he earned during the time he spent as Special Assistant to Enugu State Governor and as the youth leader of Agbaja nation is all-encompassing to move the consistency forward urging the delegates to vote for the young aspirant.

Hon. Nebo drove many people-oriented programs such as the Youth Summit in collaboration with POCACOV in 2019, the campaign against  cultism in the secondary schools in  Udi and Ezeagu, distribution of Palliatives during the Covid-19 Pandemic on two different occasions where not less than 200 families where touched,  organization of an empowerment/skill acquisition program where over 200 persons were taught different skills, an education summit for over 3000 youths of Udi and  Ezeagu, a Youth Security summit, distribution of Sanitary pad to almost every girl child in Secondary schools in Udi and Ezeagu and so many others.
