Enugu PDP Guber Candidate, Hon. Peter Mbah Unites with Edeoga, Ohaa, Anike, other Aspirants After Winning PDP Guber Primaries | CABLE REPORTERS

Peter Mbah, Tuesday, commenced a reconciliatory process with all the governorship aspirants that contested with him at the Enugu PDP convention.


Earlier on Tuesday, Dr. Mbah was spotted at the Enugu State government house flanked by some stakeholders from the Enugu North Senatorial zone on what could be construed as a thank you visit to Enugu State Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. 


The Enugu gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Bar Peter Mbah, had in his acceptance speech honoured Governor Ugwuanyi for the key role he played in securing his election victory and for his blessings which are seen as a game-changer in Mbah's candidacy, assuring the governor that "posterity indeed will reserve a noble seat for you when the history of this state is written".


Later same Tuesday,  Hon. Dr Peter Mbah held a reconciliation meeting with his closest rivals, the former commissioner for Environment Enugu State, Hon. Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga, the former Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Power, Hon. Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, Hon. Beloved Dan Obinna Anike, Mr Erasmus Anike,  Hon. GOC Ajah, Hon. Bar. Ugwu amongst other PDP Guber aspirants. 


Shortly after the meeting, Hon. Dr Mbah affirmed that the meeting was a “path to sustained peace and reconciliation” in the state, promising to work together with all the aspirants for a better and greater Enugu State. 


“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!  Path to sustained peace and reconciliation.  I pledged my cooperation to my fellow aspirants. We  send a message to traducers that we are united in our aspirations to make Enugu state better and greater. We belong to each other. A better beginning..!” Hon. Dr Mbah stated.
